Research activity:
students will develop a research project under the supervision of a senior scientist participating in the PhD program.
Seminars and courses: during the first year of the program, candidates will be following courses on the main research themes covered by the school, plus seminars held by Italian and foreign scientists.
Participation to scientific congresses: students must attend at least one national/international congress per year.
Research experiences in external laboratories in Italy or abroad: students are encouraged to spend periods in laboratories other than those hosting their major research activities. Such stages will contribute to provide the students with a scientific and technical skill in the field of Neurosciences.
Reports: students will be asked to produce an annual written report and a final thesis describing the results of their research. Such reports will be accompanied by public annual communications and a final dissertation in the presence of the Faculty of the PhD school.
